Matteo Bergoglio

Biography

Matteo Bergoglio was born in Turin, Italy, on December 8, 1997. He graduated in Master of in Materials Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2022. He spent a semester at KTH-Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, working on his master's thesis, “Vanillin bio-based reprocessable polymers", under the supervision of prof. Minna Hakkarainen (Fiber and Polymer Technology Division) and prof. Marco Sangermano.

He started his PhD in Material and technology in November 2022. His research focuses on developing new formulations for the 3D printing of biocompatible scaffolds starting from bio-based photocurable resin with vitrimeric properties that enable the final product reprocessing.
